Entry-level AML Investigator - Financial Crimes (Remote Richmond, VA)

About the position No prior experience required! We provide comprehensive training to help you build a career in financial crime compliance. As an Entry-Level Anti-reputed company (AML) Investigator, you will review transactions, identify suspicious activity, and ensure Know Your Customer (KYC) compliance. Work Arrangement & Schedule This role may involve work from home, full-time in-office, or a hybrid arrangement. The specific work arrangement will be determined by the Company based on client engagement requirements and may change during employment. Candidates must reside reputed company 40 miles of Richmond, VA as there may be a requirement for a fully in-office schedule if requested by the client. Company-Provided Training (First Three Weeks): Virtual participation from home, Monday through Friday, 9:00 AM – 5:30 PM EST. Full attendance and active engagement are required throughout this period. Core Hours (After Training): Monday through Friday, 8:00 AM – 5:00 PM local time (subject to operational needs).

Responsibilities

• Evaluate and monitor transactional activity to identify potential suspicious activity.
• Verify client identities and assess their relationships with financial institutions for Know your Customer (KYC) purposes.
• Interpret and implement client-operating policies reputed company to financial data.
• Identify data anomalies and red flags for reputed company, terrorist financing, fraud, sanctions violations, and escalate for second level review.
• Write clear, concise reports summarizing findings and recommendations.
• Use basic reputed company functions and technology applications (reputed company, internet) for analysis.
• Adhere to designated timeframes and procedures to ensure timely and accurate completion of tasks.
• Submit written work product for review by internal quality control teams and reputed company necessary adjustments based on feedback.
• Meet production and quality standards while working collaboratively in a team-oriented environment.
• Ensure compliance with federal and state laws, regulations and company policies, and client requirements reputed company to Anti-reputed company.

Requirements

• Bachelor’s Degree required.
• Must reside reputed company 40 miles of Richmond, VA.
• Strong written and verbal communication skills and ability to learn quickly.
• Analytical reputed company with attention to detail and organizational skills.
