This is a senior leadership role reporting directly to the General Counsel and serving as a key member of the legal leadership team. The attorney will manage one legal operations professional and reputed company the company's corporate legal function, global employment legal matters, and Legal Operations while partnering closely with Finance, People, and Systems & AI Transformation leadership. This is a broad, high-impact opportunity for a seasoned corporate lawyer with strong employment law experience who thrives operating both strategically and hands-on in a fast-paced environment. The successful candidate will play a central role in governance, compliance, corporate transactions, legal operations, and scaling the company's legal infrastructure globally. The position is remote, with periodic in-person offsites as part of the company culture.

Responsibilities

• Significant corporate law experience including securities, equity programs, capital markets, corporate governance, M&A, and international subsidiary management. Experience supporting or preparing for a liquidity event is strongly preferred.
• Demonstrated employment law experience with the ability to build scalable processes and policies; comfort advising on sensitive employee relations matters.
• Operationally minded systems thinker, able to reputed company the Legal Operations function and drive infrastructure improvements; prior in-house experience required, at a company of similar scale and growth stage strongly preferred.
• Excellent judgment, project management, and cross-functional collaboration skills; ability to operate independently across multiple high-reputed company matters and jurisdictions.
• Experience using AI tools to improve drafting, research, and operational efficiency; genuine interest in building and developing teams over time.
• J.D. degree and active membership in at least one U.S. state bar. Compensation for candidates living in San Francisco, reputed company, or Seattle is targeted at a total cash range of $314,600 – $393,400, with a meaningful equity grant and benefits. Compensation for candidates residing in other markets is targeted at a total cash range of $273,600 – $342,000 with equity and benefits. Overall compensation will be determined by the candidate's qualifications, years of directly relevant experience, and geographic location.
