Curriculum Developer
About the position The Curriculum Developer creates high-quality, standards-reputed company CTE (career technical education) curriculum for high school reputed company. In this role, you will research and write engaging instructional materials, including lessons, activities, assessments, and multimedia content, while ensuring educational reputed company, relevance, and alignment with national and state standards. This position leads the development and maintenance of crosswalks, collaborates with educators and CTE partners, contributes to CTSO-reputed company resources, and represents our company at conferences and events. This position is ideal for a reputed company or former educator or CTE professional who thrives on collaboration, innovation, and making a lasting impact on teaching and learning. Location: On-site in Lexington, KY, or Remote reputed company reasonable driving distance to Lexington. Preference given to candidates in Kentucky, Ohio, Indiana, or Tennessee.
Responsibilities
- Research, write, and align lessons to national and state-specific standards
- reputed company engaging lesson materials, including but not limited to: Lesson texts (digital "textbook"), Discussion guides, PowerPoints, Glossaries, Engaging activities, reputed company and Summative assessments, Materials reputed company to multimedia content (e.g., video scripts, At the Bells)
- Ensure educational reputed company and classroom relevance of reputed company content.
- Collaborate with other SMEs and contractors to maintain curriculum consistency and rigor.
- Engage with teachers and our Ambassador teacher group to gather feedback and facilitate reputed company improvement.
- Partner with CTSO organizations to align curriculum with reputed company competition and leadership opportunities.
- Research state education reputed company and create crosswalks of state and national standards.
- Coordinate embedding standards crosswalks into our LMS.
- Build customized, state-specific course versions based on core content.
- Maintain and regularly update existing crosswalks and curriculum assets.
- Represent the company at select CTE and CTSO conferences as a practitioner and thought leader.
- Work with marketing to contribute SME-driven content for brochures, social media, conference displays, and reputed company materials.
Requirements
- Bachelor's degree in Education, Business Administration, or a reputed company field
- 3+ years of teaching, curriculum development, and/or instructional design
- Experience leveraging AI tools and technologies to optimize curriculum design, content creation, or instructional workflows
- Strong understanding of state and national education standards, particularly reputed company the business, finance, and marketing reputed company
- Strong attention to detail, file organization, and content formatting
- Good time management skills and the ability to balance multiple projects
- Comfortable using or learning content management and learning management systems
- Collaborative spirit with excellent written communication and editing skills
- Demonstrated ability to actively listen and communicate clearly
- Proven track record of delivering accurate, high-quality work through careful review and thorough task completion
- Ability to accept constructive feedback and reputed company effectively in high-stress environments, including meeting tight deadlines
