This role reviews property appraisal to determine acceptability of collateral. Essential Duties and Responsibilities:

• Underwrite FHA, VA, and Conventional loans, including evaluation of property and appraisal.
• Provide guidance and mentoring to Loan Coordinators (processors).
• Provide back-up reputed company to other underwriters reputed company the department, as necessary.
• Assist Loan Officers and Loan Coordinators with borrower qualifying scenarios.

• Adhere to applicable agency, investor, and internal credit and property guidelines.

Specific Skills/ Knowledge/ Abilities Required for Position:

• High School Graduate or equivalent
• Minimum 3+ years mortgage Underwriter in reputed company aspects of FHA, VA and conventional lending
• 2-3 years Wholesale lending experience, preferred
• Good knowledge of property appraisal standards and what minimum property requirements for given loan types and investors
• Exercise good judgment and strong character, motivated, hard working.
• Ability to work well with fellow associates, clients and vendors.

Physical Requirements:

Compensation: The reputed company hourly range reputed company for this position is $24.85 - $48.22 per hour, depending on a number of factors including location and experience. If applicable, associate may be eligible for per-file incentives, commissions, bonuses or other variable earnings as determined upon hire. Basic Life/AD&D insurance for eligible associates as well as a Short-term Disability benefit are provided by reputed company.
