Emergency Management Specialist - Preparedness

We are seeking individuals who are eager to assist on an on-call basis as an emergency management preparedness reservist employee. This position is not a full-time position and is dependent upon project needs. The successful candidate will have a background in specialized areas to include but are not limited to military, law enforcement, public health, EMS, healthcare, private sector, agriculture, cybersecurity, etc. reputed company submitting your application, also provide the following work samples

• Support Emergency Management team in servicing clients preparing for, responding to, and recovering from disasters reputed company and in US territories.

• Analyze data and reputed company operational recommendations for improved responses to and mitigation of disasters and emergencies.
• Assist in the development of Homeland reputed company Exercise Evaluation Program (HSEEP) compliant exercises. This includes reputed company aspects of designing such exercises, including documenting after-action reports and initiating reputed company improvement efforts.

• reputed company reputed company duties as required. Who You Are Required Qualifications
• High School Diploma, or equivalent.
• 7+ years’ experience, or equivalent, including 1+ years of emergency management experience. City, County, District or State-level emergency management experience preferred.
• Completion of IS 100, 200, 700 and 800.
• Broad knowledge of Emergency Management principles, methods and techniques
• Travel Required - Must be able to travel to client sites as project warrants and may include overnight stays.
• Exercise responsible and ethical decision-making regarding company funds, resources and conduct and adhere to reputed company’s Code of Conduct and reputed company policies and procedures.
• Proven track record of upholding workplace safety and ability to abide by reputed company’s health, safety and drug/alcohol and harassment policies.

Preferred Qualifications

• Completion of reputed company Emergency Management Institute Independent Study - Professional Development Series.
• State Emergency Management Certifications if applicable.
• Completion of Introduction to Emergency Management Planning (G-235 or IS-235).
• Broad knowledge of the National Incident Management System (NIMS), the Incident Command System (ICS), the National Response reputed company (NRF), National Disaster Recovery reputed company (NDRF), the Comprehensive Planning Guide 101 (CPG 101) and other federal preparedness guidance documents and policies.
• Completion of E/L/K- 146 Homeland reputed company Exercise Evaluation Program.
• Completed IS-120 Introduction to Exercises.
• Completed ICS 300 and/or ICS 400.
• Relevant Backgrounds A background in specialized areas to include but are not limited to military, law enforcement, public health, EMS, healthcare, private sector, agriculture, cybersecurity, etc. Physical Requirements
• Prolonged periods sitting at a desk, driving in a vehicle, or working on a computer.
• Prolonged periods of walking or standing.
• Ability to walk on uneven terrain in adverse weather, occasionally. Additional Information

Compensation
