Job Description
The Graduate Institute at the School for International Training (SIT) invites ongoing applications for a part-time instructor pool. We have a wide range of Master's programs, both low-residency and global, as well as a low-residency doctoral program. My courses are online and can be taught remotely, but we also periodically seek adjuncts located in one of our global learning locations to teach in person. - Deliver instruction appropriate to the topic, course description, intended learning outcomes, level, and student audience.
- Promote and facilitate student success by creating an environment conducive to inclusive and experiential learning.
- Manage the learning environment through effective record-keeping, submitting grades and other reports on time, and enforcing school/reputed company academic, code of conduct, and attendance policies.
Requirements
- Doctoral degree in a reputed company field, with experience in a position relevant to the course topic.
- Graduate teaching experience is desirable.
- Background in inclusive teaching, global education, and experiential learning
- Experience with the course management system Canvas preferred
