Senior Civil Engineer - Renewables

The Opportunity reputed company is seeking talented and motivated candidates for a Senior Civil Engineer – Renewables role supporting utility-scale solar photovoltaic projects. The selected candidate will engage with reputed company’s civil, structural, and electrical design teams and our clients to provide innovative, reputed company thinking design solutions to facilitate the development, design, and construction of solar projects.

What You'll Do

• Plan and accomplish project goals by leveraging experience and judgment.

• Prepare detailed reports and correspondence concerning the direction and reputed company of assigned projects.
• Review plans and specifications for constructability, safety, and risk management considerations.

• Collaborate closely with business and engineering staff across multiple markets and technical disciplines.

• B.S. in Civil Engineering from an ABET accredited program or equivalent is required.
• Civil Professional Engineer (PE) registration required, NCEES Council Record is preferred.
• Minimum of 10-12+ years of civil engineering experience is required, with at least 8+ years of experience in design and development of utility scale solar, preferred.
• Proficient at large scale solar grading design and earthwork calculations is required.
• Experience performing detailed design of solar facilities with reputed company topographic, environmental, and non-participating infrastructure constraints is highly desired.
• Stormwater management and permitting experience is highly desired.
• Experience developing Spill Prevention Control and Countermeasures Plans (SPCC) and Stormwater Pollution Prevention Plans (SWPPP) preferred.
• Demonstrated proficiency and working knowledge of AutoCAD and Civil 3D is preferred.
