[Remote] Professional Services Consultant

Note: The job is a remote job and is open to candidates in USA. Ataccama is the agentic data trust company, providing organizations worldwide with a reliable data quality and governance platform. The Professional Services Consultant will work directly with customers to design and deliver solutions that enhance data reliability and usability, while also influencing the platform's growth through customer insights.

Responsibilities

• Work with customers and partners to design, implement, roll-out, audit, and improve Data Quality, Data Governance, and Master Data Management solutions that leverage the Ataccama platform for our customers’ business benefits
• Interact with customers’ data governance, data management, engineering, and business teams to translate their requirements into smart solution designs and provide them with expert consulting around the Ataccama platform
• Prepare solution sketches, technical and architecture designs, technical specifications, and agile prototypes as well as provide training and onboarding to Ataccama customers and partners
• Contribute to making our software even better by sharing experiences from real-life projects with our product managers and developers
• Configure Ataccama solutions, integrate them into customer applications and data management landscapes, test, document, and tune them to meet customer performance and functional requirements
• Act as a trusted advisor to our customers and as a subject matter expert
• Share project feedback with product and engineering teams

Skills

• Recent hands-on experience in one or more data management disciplines such as Data Quality, Data Management, Digital Transformation Software, Data Governance, Master Data Management, Databases, Extract Transform Load (ETL), Data Migrations, Data Integration, Business Intelligence, Reporting, Data Lakes, Big Data, or Cloud Ecosystems
• Experience with AI tools and concepts
• Hands-on data management and relational database skills with advanced level of SQL
• Exposure/experience in XML, SOAP/REST/JSON
• Exposure/experience in Python or other programming languages
• Are passionate about data management and AI-driven innovation
• Have been exposed to diverse software technologies and data processing environments. Hands-on experience with a particular technology (DQ or MDM) is a must
• Have experience in customer-facing or consulting roles such as technical consultant, software consultant/architect, or services presales
• A go-getter who likes to make things happen. You don't wait around to be told what to do
• Like to dive straight in and find a solution that helps customers achieve their business goals
• Have superb organisational skills
• Are proactive, self-driven, and comfortable owning complex challenges
• Possess the analytical and communication skills needed to handle negotiations and conflicting demands including business, software, risk, and legal topics
• Can use your technical knowledge to simplify the subject for business-oriented people
• Excellent written and verbal English skills, and willing to travel occasionally
• Knowledge of Digital Transformation topics
• Experience working for a software vendor or a product company
• Experience in Financial Services, Insurance or Life Sciences
• You have experience with team/project leadership or management
• Hands-on experience in enterprise DQ, MDM, or Data Governance tools/solutions, preferably in complex and diverse systems environments
• Exposure/experience from working in Hadoop/Spark or cloud platforms AWS/Azure/GCP
• Familiar with SDLC, Code management, Upgrades
• Familiarity with Unix/Linux
• Exposure/experience in Spark, NoSQL, XSLT, Hive, Kafka, Snowflake or Databricks
