[Remote] Snowflake Data Engineer
Note: The job is a remote job and is open to candidates in USA. RandomTrees is seeking a Snowflake Data Engineer to design, develop, and support ETL/ELT workflows. The role involves building and maintaining data pipelines, optimizing Snowflake performance, and collaborating with stakeholders to gather requirements.
Responsibilities
- Design, develop, and support ETL/ELT workflows using Informatica Intelligent Cloud Services
- Build and maintain data pipelines that load data into Snowflake
- Develop mappings, mapping tasks, taskflows, and reusable transformations
- Perform data extraction from multiple source systems, including databases, APIs, files, and cloud applications
- Implement data validation, reconciliation, and quality checks
- Optimize Snowflake warehouse performance, storage, and query execution
- Design dimensional and relational data models to support reporting and analytics
- Collaborate with business analysts, data architects, and stakeholders to gather requirements
- Monitor production jobs and resolve ETL failures and performance issues
- Maintain documentation for data flows, mappings, and operational procedures
