[Remote] Maximo BIRT Report Writer

Confidential Careers is seeking a dynamic and detail-oriented Maximo BIRT Report Writer to join their team and drive insightful data visualization solutions. In this part-time role, you will leverage your expertise in BIRT to develop and optimize reports for a Maximo MAS 9 environment.

Responsibilities

• Design, develop, and maintain comprehensive BIRT reports integrated with Maximo Asset Management systems to meet diverse business needs
• Collaborate with business analysts, project managers, and stakeholders to gather reporting requirements and translate them into effective visualizations
• Optimize report performance through efficient SQL queries
• Evaluate reporting requirements, and determine the appropriate reporting strategy for each, including the use of saved queries, Maximo Start Center KPIs, Custom BIRT reports, modification of an existing out of the box BIRT report, and Maximo Ad-Hoc reporting

Skills

• MUST have proven experience with Maximo BIRT report writing
• Resume must clearly demonstrate experience in developing and deploying BIRT reports for Maximo environments
• Capable of defining and configuring the appropriate 'report' strategy for each requirement, and configuring, using either Maximo Start Center KPIs, Lists, application list screen saved queries, ad-hoc reports, and BIRT reports
• Must have demonstrated experience creating custom BIRT reports, and modifying existing, out of the box Maximo reports
• Strong proficiency in SQL programming along with experience in database design for Microsoft SQL Server or Oracle databases
• Experience working within Agile methodologies and participating actively in project management cycles
• Demonstrated ability to analyze complex datasets using R or Python for advanced analytics purposes
• Excellent business analysis skills with the ability to interpret stakeholder needs into technical solutions effectively
