[Remote] Technical Sales Manager

Note: The job is a remote job and is open to candidates in USA. LHH Recruitment is seeking a results-driven Technical Sales Manager to join a growing team within the industrial manufacturing sector. This role is responsible for driving revenue growth by introducing innovative products into established territories and building new markets from the ground up.

Responsibilities

  • Develop and execute strategic sales plans to grow revenue across assigned U.S. territory
  • Introduce and successfully position new products within existing accounts and untapped markets
  • Build and expand territory presence, including prospecting, pipeline development, and account management
  • Establish and maintain relationships with key decision-makers in industrial manufacturing organizations
  • Deliver technical presentations and product demonstrations tailored to customer needs
  • Collaborate cross-functionally with engineering, product, and operations teams to support customer solutions
  • Track sales activity, forecasts, and pipeline performance using CRM tools
  • Travel 50%+ across the U.S. to meet with clients, attend industry events, and support business development initiatives

Skills

  • Proven experience in technical sales within the industrial manufacturing industry
  • Experience selling products related to hydraulic systems, cargometers, or similar industrial equipment strongly preferred
  • Demonstrated success introducing new products into existing territories and/or building territories from scratch
  • Strong technical aptitude with the ability to translate complex concepts into customer value
  • Excellent communication, negotiation, and relationship-building skills
  • Ability to work independently in a remote environment and manage a national territory
  • Willingness and ability to travel 50% or more domestically
  • Bachelor's degree in Mechanical Engineering, Business, or a related field
  • Experience working with OEMs, distributors, or end-users in industrial environments
  • Familiarity with CRM systems and sales analytics tools
