New York Life is a Fortune 100 mutual company with a legacy of purpose and integrity. They are seeking a customer service professional to support their agents and management team by overseeing the onboarding process for new agents, ensuring a smooth transition into selling life insurance.

Responsibilities

  • Perform tasks in the contracting system to advance contracts along in the process
  • Track background-check and fingerprint results; follow up with Partners; escalate issues as needed
  • Review onboarding paperwork for completeness and accuracy; resolve data or documentation gaps
  • Communicate with Partners to provide candidate status updates and answer questions
  • Process forms to ensure agents are integrated in our systems correctly
  • Assist with in-person responsibilities to provide the support required of the Agents and Agency Managers within the General Office

Skills

  • Experience in a customer service and/or office administration
  • Clear, professional communication (phone and email) and strong stakeholder service
  • Meticulous data entry and document review; audit-ready attention to detail
  • Proficiency with Microsoft 365 (Word, Excel, Outlook, Teams); quick to learn new systems
  • Strong organization and time management; able to prioritize and meet SLAs
  • Discretion with sensitive information; compliance-first mindset
  • Associate or bachelor's degree
  • Experience in insurance/financial services, licensing/contracting, or new agent onboarding
  • Familiarity with background checks/fingerprinting workflows and basic FCRA concepts
