We’re looking for a Senior Sales Manager to take ownership of a key European region and drive growth within our Precision Manufacturing business, specialising in laser, optics, and advanced photonics solutions. 🚀 Why this role is exciting This isn’t a “maintain the numbers” role — it’s a chance to shape and scale a market. In this role you will: Own and grow a strategic UK, France & Benelux territory Work at the forefront of cutting-edge laser and photonics technologies Drive both new business and key account expansion Partner with global teams in a highly collaborative, international environment Have real influence on commercial strategy and customer direction 🔧 What you will be doing Lead sales growth across the region, delivering strong double-digit YoY performance Identify and win new OEM customers in advanced manufacturing markets Build and grow relationships across engineering, procurement, and supply chain stakeholders Develop and execute strategic account plans and territory strategies Manage a robust sales pipeline, forecasting, and CRM discipline Collaborate with technical teams to deliver complex, high-value solutions Represent Novanta at customer sites, industry events, and trade shows ✅ What you will bring Proven success in technical B2B sales (5+ years) Experience selling into OEMs with long design cycles Strong background in laser, photonics, optics, additive manufacturing, or precision engineering Track record of winning new business and growing key accounts Ability to engage confidently with both technical and commercial stakeholders A strategic mindset combined with hands-on execution Experience working in a global, matrix organisation 🌍 Additional details Coverage: UK, France, Netherlands Travel: ~50% (international) Languages: English required, French advantageous 🌟 Why Novanta?
