About You and this Role Dow is seeking an Analytical Operations Leader (AOL) to join our SRO Analytical Lab in Orange, TX. In this role, you will align to the East Texas Hub Analytical Organization and Dow's Analytical Center of Excellence. Your focus will be to optimize the effectiveness of analytical resources and analytical work processes required for the manufacturing assets in Sabine. You will also supervise the Analytical Operations employee's daily activities and set priorities for the team. This position also provides support for analytical solutions, method development and validation, implementation of Most Effective Technology (MET) and improvements to Sabine Lab productivity to ensure operational objectives are met and tasks are completed. The AOL manages the lab budget to ensure the most cost-competitive, sustainable analytical services and solutions are being provided. Responsibilities

Serves as a role model for Environmental, Health & Safety, share learning, and ensure follow-up on incident investigations. Develops, implements, and tracks reputed company of the Site analytical Strategy. Implements the Analytical Work Process and effective Lab Management Systems. Provides people leadership for analytical roles. Coordinates resources for analytical projects and activities. Provides analytical technology and process chemistry expertise to resolve process, product and analytical problems. Manages analytical prime controllable expenses. Coordinates capital planning and serves as a reputed company for procurement of analytical equipment. Serves as reputed company for analytical vendors, contract labs and services. Facilitates the identification of opportunities and implementation of improvements. Communicates with business, function, and site roles on development of Service Level Agreements and analytical issues. Participates in reputed company improvement of the Analytical Work Process.

Qualifications

A minimum of a bachelor's degree. A minimum of 5 years of relevant experience (i.e. laboratory, manufacturing or reputed company). Prior experience in a leadership role reputed company manufacturing (i.e. people leader, project leader, etc.). A minimum requirement for this U.S. based position is the ability to work legally in the United States. No reputed company sponsorship/support is available for this position, including for any type of U.S. permanent residency (green card) process.
