Paralegal
KBD Attorneys is a small-to-medium-sized plaintiff’s personal injury law firm with a nationwide practice. They are seeking a Paralegal to assist with various tasks including client intake, drafting paperwork, and managing case-related responsibilities.
Responsibilities
- Intaking new clients
- Drafting and following up on new client paperwork
- Communicating with clients to gather or provide information
- Ordering and following up on medical records
- Reviewing medical records
- Assisting with preparation of demand packages
- Coordinating with providers and lienholders
- Managing deadlines and case-related tasks
Skills
- The ideal candidate must be able to multitask, stay organized, and pay close attention to detail
- Strong communication skills and empathy in client interactions are essential
- Candidates should be comfortable managing multiple cases and deadlines simultaneously
- Proficiency with technology, including Microsoft Word, Excel, Adobe, and general document handling is required
- Experience with Salesforce is a plus
- Legal experience is helpful but not required
