[Remote] Email Marketing Manager

Note: The job is a remote job and is open to candidates in USA. The Giraffe is seeking an Email & SMS Marketing Manager to support the execution and optimization of their lifecycle marketing programs across the home services industry. This role is ideal for an associate-level marketer who has some hands-on experience and is looking to deepen their expertise in email marketing and SMS marketing while contributing to business growth.

Responsibilities

• Build, schedule, and deploy email and SMS campaigns across multiple home services verticals
• Assist with managing automated customer journeys, nurture campaigns, and re-engagement flows
• Monitor campaign performance and prepare reports on key metrics including open rates, click-through rates, conversions, engagement, and unsubscribe rates
• Support A/B testing initiatives and help identify opportunities to improve campaign performance
• Maintain audience segmentation, list hygiene, and customer data within marketing platforms
• Assist with email and SMS compliance, deliverability monitoring, and best practices
• Coordinate campaign calendars and ensure timely execution of marketing initiatives
• Work with internal teams to gather assets, messaging, and campaign requirements
• Help identify process improvements and contribute to building scalable marketing operations
• Stay current on lifecycle marketing trends and bring new ideas to the team

Skills

• 1-3 years of experience in email marketing, SMS marketing, digital marketing, or a related field
• Familiarity with email marketing platforms such as Klaviyo, Mailchimp, HubSpot, Customer.io, Attentive, Postscript, or similar tools
• Strong attention to detail and organizational skills
• Comfortable working with data and reporting on campaign performance
• Strong written communication skills
• Eagerness to learn, test new ideas, and grow within a marketing organization
• Ability to manage multiple projects and deadlines in a fast-paced environment
• Self-starter who takes initiative and enjoys solving problems
• Experience with lead generation marketing
• Experience working in a startup or entrepreneurial environment
• Basic understanding of customer segmentation, marketing automation, and lifecycle marketing
• Familiarity with home services, consumer marketing, or performance marketing
