Responsibilities
- Prepare accurate federal and state tax returns for individual and small business clients using various accounting software tools such as QuickBooks, Sage, or similar platforms.
- Analyze financial documents, including income statements, balance sheets, and supporting tax documentation to ensure compliance and maximize deductions.
- Provide exceptional customer service by guiding clients through their tax questions and explaining complex financial concepts clearly.
- Stay updated on current tax laws, regulations, and industry best practices to ensure all filings are compliant and optimized.
- Utilize marketing skills to promote your services within your network and expand your client base.
- Maintain detailed records of all client interactions, filings, and correspondence for audit preparedness and future reference.

Experience
- Previous experience in tax preparation, public accounting, or related financial roles is highly desirable but not mandatory; training will be provided.
- Strong understanding of accounting principles, financial concepts, and tax regulations.
- Proficiency with accounting software such as QuickBooks, Sage, or other relevant financial tools.
- Demonstrated analysis skills with the ability to interpret complex financial data accurately.
- Excellent math skills and proficiency in 10-key typing for efficient data entry.
