Cold Email Marketing Manager for Shopify App (Monthly Retainer + Performance Bonus)

Overview: Z Shop is the first app that allows Shopify merchants to sell products directly inside Zoom meetings (launching by the end of June). Merchants can showcase products, allow customers to browse inventory, and complete purchases during live Zoom sessions. The app will soon be available in both the Shopify App Store and the Zoom App Marketplace. It is designed for Shopify store owners looking to increase engagement and sales through live commerce. We are seeking an experienced Cold Email Marketing Manager to own our outbound email strategy from end to end. This is not a simple list-blasting role. We need someone who understands deliverability, domain reputation management, email infrastructure, A/B testing, clever copywriting, campaign optimization, and SaaS customer acquisition. What You'll Do: - Develop and execute a cold email strategy targeting Shopify store owners - Manage outbound campaigns to a database of 100,000+ Shopify merchants - Provide email deployment platform recommendations - Create and optimize email sequences - Perform ongoing A/B testing of: subject lines, messaging, calls to action, sequence timing, audience segmentation - Monitor deliverability and inbox placement - Protect domain reputation through proper email infrastructure and warmup procedures - Recommend and implement sending best practices - Track key performance metrics and continuously optimize campaigns - Generate free trial signups and paid subscriptions for Z Shop - Provide regular reporting and strategic recommendations What We Provide: - 100,000+ Shopify merchant email addresses to start - Additional email lists as campaigns scale - Access to the product and founder - Marketing assets and product information - A unique SaaS product with a clear value proposition Success Metrics: The primary objective is to acquire paying subscribers for Z Shop.
