Civil Engineer (PE, EIT, or equivalent) – Civil 3D & Design/Drafting Experience
We found two of our PEs on Upwork and they are working remotely. We are looking for the next great addition to our team as we grow. We are a growing engineering firm looking for a Civil Engineer (PE, EIT, or equivalent experience) with proven hands-on experience in civil design and CAD drafting. The preferred candidate will meet the following criteria: •Civil design and plan production experience (i.e. can do both design and drafting).
- Availability to start soon, with consistent weekly hours.
- Experience in one or more of the following areas:
1. Land Development & Site Design (grading, drainage, utilities) 2. Municipal Infrastructure (stormwater, sanitary sewer, public works) 3. Transportation & Roadway Design
- Hands-on experience with Civil 3D tools such as pipe networks, grading, and corridor modeling is strongly preferred.
- Experience in PCSWMM, HEC-RAS, GIS, and other software is a plus.
- Experience preparing construction plans and design drawings, including:
1. Site plans, grading plans, and drainage design 2. Erosion and sediment control and BMPs 3. Utility design (water, sewer, storm) 4.Detention/retention/stormwater quality systems 5. Additional experience with roadway plans, ADA/sidewalk design, traffic control plans (TCP), or water/wastewater facilities (e.g., lift stations, pump stations) is a plus.
- Ability to work with survey data and produce clean, well-organized plan sets is highly preferred.
- Familiarity with civil engineering design standards and the ability to quickly learn and adapt to local requirements and regulations.
- Proven ability to produce clean, well-organized, and professional construction plan sets.
- A team player who can communicate effectively and focus on exceeding client expectations.
