Join our team and be a part of our continued success in the insurance industry. Conduct thorough investigations of personal umbrella claims to determine coverage and liability. Review and analyze relevant insurance policies, laws, and regulations to ensure accurate and fair claims handling. Communicate with policyholders, attorneys, and other parties involved in the claims process in a professional and timely manner. Negotiate and settle claims within authorized limits, while maintaining company standards and customer satisfaction. Provide guidance and mentorship to junior examiners to promote continuous learning and development within the team. Collaborate with other departments, such as underwriting and legal, to gather information and make informed decisions on claims. Maintain accurate and organized claim files and documentation for future reference and audit purposes. Participate in regular training and development programs to stay updated on industry trends and best practices. Identify and report potential fraudulent activities and take appropriate actions to mitigate risk. Adhere to company policies and procedures, as well as state and federal regulations, to ensure compliance and ethical practices. Continuously review and improve processes to increase efficiency and improve customer experience. Handle escalated or complex claims with a sense of urgency and attention to detail. Represent the company in a professional and positive manner when interacting with customers, vendors, and other external parties. Make decisions based on sound judgment and analytical skills, while considering the best interests of the company.
