Senior Tax Accountant Contract to Hire Hybrid

Vaco shared services team here in Brentwood, TN (now Highspring) is seeking a Senior Tax Accountant to support our team with filing deadlines, corporate income tax, partnership returns, sales and use, property, and business licensing. This is a contract to hire opportunity, requiring someone local to the greater Nashville area. Applicants should be able to readily available to start. This role will support our Tax Manager and Controller with all of our corproate filings to include but not limited to: gathering documentation, analysis, and conducting basic tax research and correspondences. Qualifications: 3+ years of tax experience (can be any combination of public accounting and/or corporate) Experience supporting multi-state, partnership, and corporations Must have intermediate to advanced Excel skills (Lookups, Pivot Tables) Ability to work overtime on occasion Experience in Prosystems is a plus, but not required Local to Middle TN - greater Nashville area; available to be on-site on a hybrid basis Our consultants have access to our health (medical/dental/vision) benefits and 401K options, as well as our extensive network of resources, including professional development, holiday and bonus opportunities, and more.
