Texa-Rica is looking for a talented Retail Market Associate to join the Hecho Trading team. Hecho Trading is a modern, tech-enabled national sales and marketing platform built for innovative CPG brands ready to scale. We partner with emerging products and help them break into retail through strategic outreach, data-driven insights, and high-quality execution. Our model is fast, efficient, and built to support brands. We work with retailers across the country to bring products to shelves, helping brands and founders accelerate distribution while maintaining focus on what they do best, building remarkable brands. As a small, rapidly growing team working across multiple categories, we move quickly, think strategically, and prioritize clarity and organization in everything we do. The Role Hecho is hiring a Retail Market Associate to expand retail presence for our portfolio of brands through consistent, high-quality outbound prospecting and relationship building. This is a hands-on, results-driven role for someone who is energized by sourcing opportunities, creating strong retail connections, and building momentum through disciplined outreach. You’ll spend most of your time identifying the right retailers, reaching out with thoughtful messages, tracking every touchpoint, and generating interest for the brands we represent. If you’re organized, proactive, and love the process of opening doors, this is your chance to play a meaningful role in the growth of emerging CPG brands nationwide. Success here requires someone who is comfortable owning their pipeline, adapting quickly, and approaching each retailer opportunity with purpose. Drive Retail Growth

  • Identify and source retailers that align with category, region, and brand fit.
  • Conduct consistent outbound outreach through email, phone, and virtual meetings.
  • Introduce product lines using clear, simple materials that make retailer decision-making easy.
  • Build and maintain a clean, organized pipeline with precise tracking of outreach, responses, and next steps.
  • Meet and exceed monthly and quarterly opportunity targets.
  • Create new business opportunities while strengthening relationships with existing retail accounts.

Build a Scalable Outbound Engine

  • Develop retailer lists, personalized outreach strategies, and tailored follow-up sequences.
  • Share insights from retailer conversations to refine sales playbooks and brand positioning.
  • Help shape the systems and processes that future team members will use as we scale.

Collaborate Across Teams

  • Partner with brand management and marketing to refine positioning and retailer targeting.
  • Provide category feedback and field insights to influence brand strategy and product direction.
  • Work closely with leadership in a lean, highly communicative environment focused on efficiency and clarity.

Represent Hecho in the Market

  • Comfortable representing brands publicly through social media, digital engagement, and industry-facing content.
  • Bring energy, personality, and creativity to how products and partnerships are showcased online and in the market.
  • Support light content creation efforts related to retailer meetings, events, product launches, or brand storytelling.

Requirements

  • Interest in sales, business development, or outbound prospecting (CPG or marketplace experience is a plus).
  • Highly organized with excellent pipeline management skills.
  • Strong written and verbal communication, clear, concise, and professional.
  • Comfortable operating in a fast-moving, startup-style environment.
  • Self-directed, proactive, and solutions-oriented.
  • Ability to manage multiple categories and accounts with precision and adaptability.
  • Naturally energetic and confident communicator who enjoys building relationships.
  • Creative mindset with an eye for trends, branding, and audience engagement.
