Our client is a fast-growing technology company building internal AI-powered products for industries including railroads, manufacturing, energy, and insurance. They work with enterprise customers across the US and are building a distributed product engineering organization across the US, India, and Eastern Europe. We’re looking for a Senior Full Stack Engineer who loves building, experimenting, and solving ambiguous problems. This is not a traditional delivery-focused engineering role. It’s a high-autonomy position centered around rapid prototyping, product innovation, and AI-assisted development. You’ll take high-level concepts and quickly turn them into interactive demos, working prototypes, and scalable technical foundations. You’ll collaborate closely with product, design, and engineering leadership to explore new ideas, validate user experiences, and shape how our products evolve. This role is ideal for engineers who enjoy starting things, moving quickly, and iterating with feedback — without spending months inside rigid delivery cycles. What You’ll Do Build end-to-end prototypes and product experiences across frontend and backend Rapidly turn high-level concepts, user goals, and lightweight requirements into working software Explore new interaction patterns and innovative UI experiences Prototype quickly, gather feedback, iterate, and refine Translate experimental ideas into scalable technical approaches Use AI-assisted engineering tools to accelerate development workflows Work closely with product managers, designers, architects, and engineering leadership Help shape product direction through technical and UX recommendations Create the initial 10–30% of implementation and architecture before handing projects to the broader engineering team for full-scale delivery Balance speed, usability, scalability, and technical quality How This Role Works This role operates inside a rapid innovation cycle. You’ll receive: high-level product concepts, user goals, design direction, and problem statements. From there, you’ll independently: explore solutions, prototype ideas, suggest approaches, and demonstrate working concepts quickly. We value rapid experimentation, fast feedback loops, and practical problem solving over excessive process or long specification cycles. Once concepts are validated, the broader engineering organization takes over long-term implementation and scaling.
