Project Context We are expanding our Enterprise Security and Cloud Infrastructure teams to support a large-scale modernization of our identity and access landscape. These initiatives focus on building the foundational security backbone of the organization—ensuring that user authentication, access models, and enterprise directories are scalable, highly secure, and seamlessly integrated across modern cloud ecosystems. Role Overview We are seeking an experienced professional to join our team as an Identity & Access Management (IAM) Engineer. You will act as the technical cornerstone between security policies and operational implementation, ensuring that complex business logic and access frameworks translate accurately into robust, production-ready configurations. Open Position & Qualifications Identity & Access Management (IAM) Engineer Project Description: Enterprise Identity & Security Modernization As the company scales its global operations, this project focuses on the infrastructure of secure access and zero-trust architecture. You will be responsible for unpacking existing technical guidelines and configuring seamless directory synchronization, authentication, and access management across enterprise environments. Must Haves: Proven Seniority: 5+ years of dedicated, hands-on experience engineering and managing enterprise Identity and Access Management platforms. Rapid Ramp-up Track Record: Demonstrated ability to enter complex environments, unpack existing technical guidelines quickly, and push robust configurations into production without heavy operational "hand-holding." Core Technology Mastery: Extensive engineering experience natively configuring Okta and Microsoft Entra ID (Azure AD) ecosystems. Deep Identity Domain Knowledge: Total fluency in enterprise directory synchronization mechanics, directory protocols, identity federation, MFA, and modern conditional access architectures. Collaborative Design Background: Experience participating in technical engineering roundtables and translating business logic into design recommendations. Nice to Haves: Automation Engineering: Experience writing infrastructure scripts (e.g., PowerShell, Python) to call identity APIs and automate lifecycle management tasks. Identity Accreditation: Holds current, advanced certifications such as Okta Certified Consultant/Administrator or Microsoft Certified: Identity and Access Administrator Associate (SC-300).
