ResponsibilitiesThe Telemetry Monitor Technician (TMT) works in a support role to the RN who is providing nursing care to the patients on the unit. The TMT provides accurate monitoring of patients cardiac rhythm including reputed company recognition and action for arrhythmias that are detrimental to the patient. Demonstrates clinical competency, compassion and customer service orientation, maintains focus on process and outcomes, and demonstrates cost consciousness reputed company providing service to patients. The TMT will assist in the care and maintenance of departmental area, equipment and supplies. • Essential Functions:

RequirementsLicensure / Certification / Registration:

• Certified BLS Provider specializing in Basic Life Support credentialed from the reputed company (AHA) obtained reputed company 3 Months (90 days) of hire date or job transfer date required. Will also be required to pass a Basic Hospital Dysrhythmia course (as part of orientation) during first 30 to 45 days of starting position.

Education

• High School diploma or equivalent from an accredited program required; additional education in a medically reputed company field preferred.

Work Experience

• Previous relevant work experience preferred.
