Tax Manager – Real Estate (cpa firm) - Remote

Regional CPA firm seeking a Tax Manager with a focus in Real Estate: residential, commercial, industrial, land, special purpose, etc. This position can be hybrid or fully remote. Remote Responsibilities: Responsibilities:

• Oversee tax engagements from planning to delivery, ensuring tasks and projects meet deadlines and client expectations
• Prepare, review, and manage staff deliverables including tax returns, extensions, tax planning calculations, and write-up work for all entity types (C-Corp, S-Corp, Partnership, multi-state, etc.)
• Prepare and review complex tax planning projections for individuals and entities
• Conduct complex tax research and prepare memorandum outlining findings and conclusions
• Communicate with and respond to the IRS and state agencies on behalf of clients in connection with audits, inquiries, and tax notices
• Assist with business development efforts

Qualifications:

• CPA or EA
• 7+ years of experience in public accounting with exposure to individual, corporate and partnership taxation
• Experience with Real Estate tax : residential, commercial, industrial, land, special purpose, etc.
