Principal Solutions Architect

Location requirements: Remote based role. Open to candidates in the USA across Pacific, Mountain, Central, and Eastern time zones. About the Role: BigPanda is seeking a Principal Solutions Architect to join our Professional Services team. This is a high-impact, customer-facing role focused on helping strategic enterprise customers design, implement, and realize long-term value from the BigPanda platform. You will serve as a senior technical advisor and hands-on architect, guiding customers through complex AIOps initiatives and helping them modernize incident management and service operations. We’re looking for someone who brings deep enterprise delivery experience, strong architectural judgment, and the ability to influence both technical teams and senior stakeholders. The team partners with some of BigPanda’s most important customers to deliver production-grade solutions, shape transformation roadmaps, and build the practices that help customers improve operational resilience at scale. What you will do: Lead strategic customer engagements from discovery through implementation, adoption, and value realization Architect end-to-end BigPanda solutions across workflows, integrations, data design, and production go-lives Partner with senior customer stakeholders to define technical roadmaps and operational transformation priorities Act as a senior escalation point for complex architecture decisions, implementation risks, and customer requirements Build reusable playbooks, best practices, and architecture patterns while mentoring other Solutions Architects What skills and experience you’ll bring to BigPanda: 8+ years of experience in post-sales, technical architecture, consulting, or professional services roles Deep knowledge of monitoring, observability, ITSM, and incident response platforms Experience leading complex enterprise implementations with multiple stakeholder groups Ability to influence senior customer stakeholders and connect technical decisions to business outcomes Strong architecture, whiteboarding, and technical documentation skills across multi-platform environments Comfort writing code in Python or Node.js for integrations, troubleshooting, or solution delivery Strong consultative communication skills across technical and non-technical audiences Track record of improving team practices through mentoring, reusable assets, or process development About Us: BigPanda is a fast-growing, values-driven, global company that enables Tech Ops teams to keep the digital economy running. Market competitive salary with an anticipated base compensation range of $195,500 - $230,000. Actual salaries will vary depending on a candidate’s experience, qualifications, skills, and location BigPanda offers a generous total rewards package that includes base pay, bonus, equity, and a world-class benefits program.
