Senior PHP Developer - fully remote within Europe (m/f/d)

Your Role: We’re looking for an experienced Senior PHP Developer to join our team at JobLeads. In this role, you’ll take ownership of backend development efforts, with a strong focus on PHP and Symfony. You’ll work on high-impact features, support scalable architecture, and collaborate across functions to drive product excellence. What You’ll Be Doing: Lead and mentor developers to deliver high-quality web applications. Design, develop, and maintain efficient and scalable backend systems using PHP and Symfony. Collaborate closely with product managers, designers, QA engineers, and other developers. Conduct code reviews and enforce coding standards to ensure performance, maintainability, and best practices. Stay current with technology trends and continuously improve development processes. What You’ll Need: 5+ years of experience as a Senior PHP Developer or Full Stack Developer. Strong proficiency in PHP and deep familiarity with backend best practices. Proven experience with the Symfony framework. Solid understanding of MySQL and ORM frameworks, ideally Doctrine. Experience with Git and CI/CD pipelines. Strong problem-solving and analytical skills. Excellent communication skills and the ability to work well in a remote, collaborative environment. Nice If You Have: Proficiency in frontend technologies like HTML5, CSS3, and JavaScript. Experience working in agile or distributed teams.
