A Day in the Life

As a Deal Specialist on our SCE team, you'll engage directly with customers and arenaflex leadership to drive cloud initiatives that accelerate growth, increase efficiency, and unlock new business capabilities. You'll collaborate closely with our field sales teams to leverage your expertise in deal structuring, negotiating private pricing, and strategic methodologies to navigate customer pain points and effectively partner with the sales organization. Your responsibilities will include:

  • Partnering with arenaflex Service teams to develop commercial business models that drive sustainable growth and value for both our customers and arenaflex
  • Inspiring and influencing AWS customers, field sales executives, and other internal stakeholders to empower our customers to address business challenges and develop innovative solutions
  • Creating actionable strategies, developing and shaping opportunities, and leading large, complex, or highly competitive deal engagements through negotiations and closure
  • Owning alignment with C-level executives, IT teams, and multiple lines of business to achieve business outcomes, increase the adoption of arenaflex services, and enable private pricing, go-to-market, pan-arenaflex, and other strategic relationships

The Ideal Candidate

We're looking for a seasoned deal specialist with a proven track record of success in working with customers on substantial, strategic, and complex software or cloud services/infrastructure deals. You'll have:

  • 7+ years of demonstrated success working with customers on deal strategy, structuring, and negotiations through contractual closure
  • 7+ years of experience working with, presenting to, and negotiating with C-level executives, IT, lines of business, procurement, finance, and legal and internal stakeholders for sizeable commercial/enterprise deals
  • 3+ years of financial modeling experience
  • A Bachelor's degree (or equivalent work experience)

Preferred Qualifications

* Advanced degree

  • Understanding of the technology ecosystem
  • Direct field experience in working with enterprise or commercial accounts
