Responsibilities:

As a Data Entry Specialist, you will be responsible for:

• Accurately entering and updating data into the organization database
• Verifying and resolving data discrepancies to ensure accuracy
• Maintaining confidentiality and security of sensitive information
• Collaborating with team members to improve data control tactics
• Meeting deadlines for data access duties
• Identifying opportunities for data automation and designing/implementing new processes to improve efficiency
• Utilizing challenge control abilities to ensure all tasks are completed on time and on budget

What You Need to Succeed:

To be successful in this role, you will need:

• A high school diploma, GED, or high school equivalency
• Experience with SQL or database querying tools, including ETL and data modeling
• Proficiency in scripting programming languages, such as Python, Bash, or PowerShell
• Knowledge of software development methodologies
• Strong PC skills, including proficiency in Excel and VBA
• Proven experience as a Data Entry Specialist or similar role
• Proficiency in data access and control software
• Excellent attention to detail and accuracy
• Strong organizational and time-management skills
• Ability to maintain confidentiality and handle sensitive information
• Effective communication skills and a team player
