Job Description

Are you looking for the opportunity to contribute momentum to a high-velocity, rapidly scaling company? Then we’re looking for you! We are seeking a Sales Development Representative to help take Mirantis to the next level. As an SDR, you will be responsible for prospecting, identifying, qualifying, and developing the marketing & sales pipeline, while working closely with your Account Executive. This role is the first step in the selling process and presents the first impression of Mirantis to our prospective customers. We’re looking for enthusiastic ‘hunters’ with a sales orientation and a drive to succeed. Responsibilities:

  • Generate new sales leads through inbound efforts, with a focus on proactive follow-up with interested prospects
  • Generate new sales leads through outbound phone and email prospecting and in close alignment with the sales team
  • Schedule meetings and solution demos for the Account Executives
  • Manage outbound leads process to maximise conversion and pipeline development
  • Effectively communicate Mirantis’s offerings and apply them to the needs of a prospect
  • Accurately enter, update, and maintain daily activity and prospect information in Salesforce
  • Achieve monthly quotas and objectives

Qualifications

  • 2 years of experience in sales, business development, prospecting or sourcing, preferably in IT sphere
  • Outbound prospecting experience
  • Strong communication and presentation skills
  • Ability to articulate technical capabilities in terms of business value
  • Strong motivation to meet and exceed aggressive goals
  • A strong desire to learn a comprehensive software sales process
  • Open to take direction and feedback
  • Experience in technology solutions, cloud, and SaaS - will be a plus
  • Skills with tools such as Saleforce, Salesloft, Linkedin Sales Navigator, Zoominfo, 6sense etc. - will be a plus
