Responsibilities

As a Healthcare Customer Service Representative, you'll be responsible for:

  • Fielding customer inquiries: Respond to a high volume of customer inquiries related to healthcare services, using your expertise to find innovative solutions to complex problems.
  • Handling inbound calls: Engage with medical professionals and customers, using medical terminology to request and verify benefits, and providing support and resolving issues in a timely and professional manner.
  • Providing excellent customer service: Respond to all customer inquiries with empathy, active listening, and a customer-centric approach, ensuring that every interaction is positive and memorable.
  • Maintaining confidentiality: Work with confidential customer information and treat it sensitively, adhering to arenaflex's strict confidentiality policies.
  • Resolving issues proactively: Aim to resolve issues on the first call by being proactive, using your problem-solving skills to find creative solutions.
  • Communicating effectively: Communicate appropriately and professionally with customers, using clear and concise language to ensure that every interaction is successful.
  • Supporting healthcare providers: Provide support for healthcare providers, helping them navigate the healthcare system and resolve issues efficiently.
  • Researching benefit information: Research benefit information as needed, using your expertise to find accurate and up-to-date information.
  • Handling complex situations: Handle situations that require adaptation of response or extensive research, using your critical thinking skills to find solutions.
  • Documenting interactions: Accurately document and maintain all interactions, ensuring that every customer inquiry is tracked and resolved efficiently.
  • Responding to requests: Respond to requests for assistance and/or possible processing payments, using your problem-solving skills to find creative solutions.

Requirements

To be successful in this role, you'll need:

  • Remote work experience: Ability to work remotely in a virtual team environment, using your own equipment and software.
  • Customer service experience: 6 months of customer service experience preferred, with a proven track record of providing excellent customer service.
  • Age requirement: Be at least 18 years of age.
  • Typing speed: Ability to type 25 wpm.
  • Education: High School Graduate or GED.
  • Computer skills: Comfort with desktop computer systems, including Windows operating systems.
  • Communication skills: Proven oral and written communication skills, with the ability to communicate effectively with customers and colleagues.
  • Problem-solving skills: Logical problem-solving skills, with the ability to think critically and find creative solutions.
  • Organization skills: Ability to prioritize tasks and manage your time effectively, ensuring that every customer inquiry is resolved efficiently.
