Independent Contractor Appointment Setter – Hospitality Tech (Remote)

Compensation is performance-based and varies based on the number of qualified appointments generated monthly. Upriser AI is seeking experienced and motivated appointment setters to generate qualified meetings with hotel and hospitality decision makers across the United States and Canada. This is a fully remote, commission-only independent contractor opportunity. Compensation is paid per qualified showed appointment — not hourly. Ideal candidates are comfortable with cold outreach, self-managed, organized, and capable of generating quality conversations without micromanagement. What This Role Is

This is NOT a salaried or hourly employee position. Contractors control their own schedules, outreach methods, and workflow.

Responsibilities

  • Prospect hotels, resorts, and hospitality groups
  • Conduct outbound outreach via phone, email, LinkedIn, SMS, and other channels
  • Schedule qualified sales meetings with hotel decision makers
  • Confirm meetings and reduce no-shows
  • Maintain accurate CRM notes and communication records
  • Represent the company professionally during outreach

Compensation

StructureBase Tier

  • $75 per qualified showed appointment

Tier 2

  • 10+ qualified showed appointments in a calendar month:
  • $100 per qualified showed appointment

Tier 3

  • 20+ qualified showed appointments in a calendar month:
  • $125 per qualified showed appointment

Additional Bonus Opportunities

  • +$50 if opportunity progresses to proposal stage
  • +$100–$250 if account closes

Commissions are issued monthly after qualification verification. What Counts as a Qualified Appointment? To qualify for commission, ALL of the following requirements must be met:

  • Meeting is attended by a verified hotel or hospitality decision maker
  • Property fits the company’s target hospitality profile
  • Meeting lasts a minimum of twenty (20) consecutive minutes
  • Lead is not a duplicate or previously active opportunity
  • Appointment occurs and is verified through company calendar/CRM systems
  • U.S. or Canada-based hospitality businesses preferred

Examples of decision makers include:

  • General Managers
  • Directors of Operations
  • Revenue Managers
  • Ownership Groups
  • Hotel Executives

Preferred Experience
