Role Impact The QFS Co-Manufacturing and 3PL Manager leads Quality and Food Safety oversight across external manufacturing and third-party logistics partners. This role ensures products are produced, stored, and distributed in compliance with regulatory, customer, and internal quality standards. The position partners closely with cross-functional teams to support new product launches, supplier performance, risk mitigation, and continuous improvement initiatives across the co-manufacturing network.
Key Responsibilities
- Quality & Food Safety oversight for assigned co-manufacturing and third-party logistics partners
- Supplier and warehouse audits for new production and distribution locations
- Corrective action management for quality, regulatory, and food safety issues
- Root cause investigations and continuous improvement initiatives across external partners
- Cross-functional collaboration with Procurement, R&D, Planning, Logistics, Regulatory, Sustainability, EHS, and Project Management teams
- Regulatory compliance management across co-manufacturing network
- Documentation review, creation, and maintenance for Quality & Food Safety programs
- Performance feedback and relationship management with external manufacturing and warehouse partners
Minimum Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Food Science, Food Technology, Science, or related field
- 5-7 years of experience in food manufacturing, ingredients, quality, or production environments
- QA Manager or Quality Engineer experience within a food manufacturing facility
- Experience managing external suppliers or co-manufacturing partners
