Experienced Insurance Defense Paralegal – Fully Remote
Join our team as an Experienced Insurance Defense Paralegal (Fully Remote). This role is ideal for a paralegal who is organized, proactive, and comfortable supporting attorneys in a fast-paced litigation environment. You will work closely with two attorneys, helping manage active caseloads from start to finish. We provide the systems, structure, and support needed—but you will play a key role in keeping cases moving efficiently day to day. This position offers a fully remote, flexible work environment with a strong emphasis on organization, communication, and work-life balance.
Responsibilities
- Support two attorneys in all phases of insurance defense litigation
- Draft and review pleadings, discovery, and correspondence
- Manage case files, deadlines, and document organization
- Coordinate depositions, court appearances, and scheduling
- Maintain clear, timely communication with attorneys, clients, and carriers
- Assist with medical record collection, review, and summaries
- Prepare reports and assist with case strategy and file management
- Ensure files remain organized, updated, and progressing efficiently
What We’re Looking For
- Prior insurance defense or litigation paralegal experience preferred
- Strong organizational skills with the ability to manage multiple active files
- Experience with billing, time entry, or carrier guidelines is a plus
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills
- Ability to work independently in a remote environment while staying responsive and engaged
- Detail-oriented with strong document management skills
