What You'll Do
- Manage day-to-day production for tax and accounting projects within your team.
- Assign, track, and review work for preparers and bookkeepers to maintain timely delivery.
- Review business and individual tax returns, financial statements, and workpapers for quality and completeness.
- Handle complex returns, reconciliations, and technical analyses.
- Train, review, and develop preparers to improve accuracy, consistency, and efficiency.
- Collaborate with the Client Manager to ensure all deliverables meet firm standards.
- Lead daily production meetings and maintain clear, documented workflow systems. Must-Have Qualifications
- 7-15+ years in public accounting focused on tax preparation and review.
- Experience supervising staff and managing workflow and production schedules.
- CPA or EA designation.
- Bachelor's degree in Accounting or related field.
- Technical expertise with S-Corps, C-Corps, Partnerships, and Individuals.
- Proficiency in shareholder and partner basis, NOLs, passive activity rules, and property transactions. Compensation & Benefits
