Sr Procurement Buyer - Indirect Services

Your Opportunity, Your Team The Sr. Buyer will work under the guidance of the Manager – Service Procurement and be capable of preparing category strategies and conducting price negotiations with suppliers, using Requests for Proposals (RFPs) and other tools for assigned categories in support of all of the QVC Group (QVCG) businesses, including QVC, HSN and Cornerstone brands. The Sr. Buyer will support service-related categories, (examples: Consulting, Marketing), as well as other categories as assigned. This role will need to be self-sufficient, executing both strategic and tactical tasks along with other duties as assigned. This position will review the current supply base for assigned categories and develop new supply sources where current vendors are not meeting expectations. The Sr. Buyer is responsible for monitoring all key indicators related to assigned categories, reviewing spend and industry trends at all times to ensure appropriate category strategies are in place. What You'll Do
- Complete procurement ownership of assigned categories.
- Lead end to end procurement for indirect services (consulting, marketing, printing, professional services), to drive total procurement value.
- Serve as point of contact for terms and best use of vendor contracts.
- Work with Manager – Service Procurement and Strategic Sourcing Team to review category spend to develop strategies for optimizing sourcing and negotiation results.
- Research and evaluate current suppliers and develop new suppliers based on quality, service, support, reliability, price, innovation, and value-added capabilities, as well as the supplier's reputation and history. Must also drive Supplier Enabled Innovation from larger, more strategic suppliers.
- Understand and anticipate procurement needs of leadership teams for long term and short term QVCG initiatives.
What You'll Bring
- Bachelors degree in related field.
- 3+ years experience leading indirect procurement/strategic sourcing.
- 3+ years of experience owning contract negotiation and collaborating with legal parties to redline contracts.
- 3+ years experience using eProcurement systems and advanced reporting tools preferred but not required.
