This role is pivotal in maintaining our award-winning momentum by building and optimizing our web applications' user interfaces using various platforms such as React with TypeScript, PHP, Python, Linux, Ubuntu, Apache, and MySQL.This individual requires a strong technical background in both back-end and front-end development, encompassing expertise in areas such as software architecture, database management, API design, and user interface design. Additionally, this role involves mentoring junior developers, contributing to architectural decisions, and ensuring efficient and high-quality product delivery. This is a 100% Remote, Full-Time opportunity. Key Responsibilities:Collaborate with cross-functional teams to define, design, and ship new features.Build and maintain efficient, reusable, and reliable code for both front-end and back-end applications.Ensure high performance and responsiveness of applications by implementing best practices.Perform code reviews, application builds, and mentor junior developers.Integrate user-facing elements developed by front-end developers with server-side logic.Leverage database expertise to design and optimize database schemas for efficient data storage and retrieval.Participate in code reviews, freely giving and receiving constructive feedback.Implement automated build and release definitions.Write unit and integration tests.Troubleshoot and resolve bugs and issues in a timely manner.Research new and innovative technologies and discuss the pros and cons of adopting them.What you'll need for success:Bachelor's degree in Computer Science or a related field; Advanced degree preferred.5+ years' experience coding in PHP using both procedural and object-oriented methodologies.Proven experience as a Full Stack Developer or similar role.Strong proficiency with fundamental front-end languages such as React or Vue.js.Experience with databases (e.g., MySQL, PostgreSQL, NoSQL).Knowledge of RESTful APIs and microservices architecture.Experience in SSO and Identity management such as Okta, Auth0, AD is a plusExperience in Big Data reporting is a bonusAbility to work in a fast-paced and collaborative environment.A portfolio of past projects and code samples is a plus.Why you'll love life at Command|LinkJoin us at CommandLink, where you'll have the opportunity to shape the future of business communication. The base pay for this position as displayed at the bottom of the job description is a range based on our lowest geographic region, up to our highest geographic region.
