Job Summary

We are seeking an experienced Full Stack Data Engineer to join our team at arenaflex. As a key member of our data engineering team, you will be responsible for designing, developing, and implementing data pipelines and applications that meet the business and information science needs of our organization. You will work closely with cross-functional teams to gather requirements, design solutions, and implement data pipelines and applications that are scalable, efficient, and reliable.

Key Responsibilities

* Design and develop large-scale data pipelines and applications to collect, process, and normalize data from various sources

• Create ETL (Extract, Transform, Load) processes, data set frameworks, and tools for continuous and batch processing of data
• Collaborate with data science teams to integrate data and models into automated processes
• Develop expertise in cloud-based platforms (GCP, AWS, Azure) and big data technologies (Hadoop, Hive, PySpark)
• Design and implement data stores and data models to support information science and other internal clients
• Ensure data quality and accessibility standards are met by integrating data from various sources
• Investigate current data technology landscapes to identify and evaluate key capabilities and suggest solutions
• Explore new tools and technologies to determine the best approach for meeting business needs

Essential Qualifications

* Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or related field

• 5+ years of experience in data engineering, data science, or related field
• Strong programming skills in Python, SQL, and other relevant languages
• Experience with cloud-based platforms (GCP, AWS, Azure) and big data technologies (Hadoop, Hive, PySpark)
• Strong communication, decision-making, and critical thinking skills

Preferred Qualifications

* Experience with Hadoop, Hive, or PySpark

• Experience with data visualization tools (Tableau, Power BI, etc.)
• Experience with machine learning algorithms and models
• Familiarity with healthcare industry data and regulations
