Our client, an award-winning luxury boutique hotel renowned for its exceptional guest experiences, is seeking a dynamic and results-oriented Director of Hotel Operations to lead their team. This is a fully remote position, offering the ultimate flexibility to manage operations remotely, supported by strong on-site management teams. You will be responsible for overseeing all aspects of hotel operations, ensuring the highest standards of service delivery, and driving profitability. The ideal candidate will have extensive experience in luxury hotel management, a passion for hospitality, and a proven ability to lead and inspire diverse teams. As a remote-first leader, you will excel at virtual communication, strategic planning, and performance monitoring. Key responsibilities include: Overseeing daily hotel operations across all departments, including Front Office, Housekeeping, Food & Beverage, and Sales & Marketing. Developing and implementing strategic operational plans to enhance guest satisfaction, improve service quality, and maximize revenue. Managing budgets, controlling costs, and ensuring profitability targets are met. Leading, motivating, and developing a high-performing team of department managers and staff. Ensuring compliance with all health, safety, and licensing regulations. Monitoring industry trends and competitor activities to identify opportunities for growth and improvement. Implementing and maintaining high standards of operational efficiency and service excellence. Managing relationships with vendors and suppliers. Overseeing marketing and sales initiatives to drive bookings and increase market share. Conducting regular performance reviews and providing constructive feedback to staff. Utilizing technology and data analytics to optimize operations and guest experiences. Representing the hotel in a professional manner to guests, partners, and the wider community. A Bachelor's degree in Hospitality Management, Business Administration, or a related field is required; a Master's degree is a plus. A minimum of 8 years of progressive experience in hotel management, with at least 4 years in a senior leadership role (e.g., General Manager, Director of Operations) within the luxury segment, is essential. Proven experience in P&L management, budgeting, and forecasting is mandatory. Exceptional leadership, communication, and interpersonal skills are required. Demonstrated ability to lead and manage teams remotely, utilizing virtual collaboration tools effectively, is paramount. A passion for delivering exceptional guest service and a keen understanding of luxury market dynamics are crucial.
