Adjunct Professor – Statistics (Part-Time, Virtual)

Position Overview Centurion International University is seeking a qualified and mission-driven Adjunct Professor of Statistics to teach undergraduate-level courses in an accelerated 8-week online format. This part-time, remote position is ideal for candidates who are passionate about teaching, committed to student success, and supportive of a Christian worldview in education.

Key Responsibilities

• Deliver high-quality instruction in assigned Statistics courses in a fully online format
• Integrate biblical principles, when appropriate, into course instruction and engagement
• Foster a Christ-centered, respectful, and engaging virtual learning environment
• Facilitate student interaction through discussions, assignments, and activities
• Provide timely grading and constructive feedback on student work
• Maintain active communication with students and academic leadership
• Adhere to university policies, academic standards, and course guidelines

Minimum Qualifications

• Master’s degree or higher in Statistics or a related field
• Minimum of 18 graduate credit hours in Statistics (required)
• Demonstrated support for the mission and values of a Christian university
• Prior teaching experience at the college or university level preferred

Preferred Qualifications

• Experience teaching in an online/virtual environment
• Familiarity with Learning Management Systems (LMS), Canvas
• Strong analytical, communication, and organizational skills
• Ability to explain complex statistical concepts clearly to diverse learners
• Ability to engage students in a faith-integrated academic setting
