Remote Senior Community Manager, Gaming Division
Our client, a globally recognized leader in the entertainment industry, is looking for a passionate and experienced Senior Community Manager to spearhead engagement for their new gaming division. This is a fully remote position, allowing you to work from anywhere within the US. You will be the voice of our brand within the gaming community, fostering positive interactions, managing online platforms, and driving player engagement for our highly anticipated titles. Your primary responsibility will be to build and nurture a thriving community around our games by creating compelling content, initiating discussions, responding to player feedback, and moderating online forums and social media channels. You'll work closely with marketing, product development, and customer support teams to ensure a cohesive player experience. Key duties include developing and executing community strategies, organizing online events and contests, analyzing community sentiment and feedback, and reporting on key metrics. The ideal candidate will have a Bachelor's degree in Marketing, Communications, or a related field, coupled with 5+ years of experience in community management, specifically within the gaming or esports industry. A deep understanding of online gaming culture, social media platforms (e.g., Discord, Reddit, Twitter, Twitch), and community management tools is essential. You must possess exceptional written and verbal communication skills, a knack for creative content generation, and a proactive approach to problem-solving. Experience with crisis communication and reputation management is highly valued. This role requires a self-starter who can manage their time effectively and thrive in an independent, remote work environment.
