Senior Attorney (Commercial Contracts)

Our diverse clientele ranges from startups to public companies across various sectors, including cryptocurrency, social media, SaaS, ad tech, fast fashion, and sports media. Job Description: We are looking for a seasoned Transactional Attorney specializing in general commercial contracts to join our team. The ideal candidate will have at least six years of experience and will have the opportunity to manage clients on a daily basis and mentor junior associates. This role requires a highly organized, detail-oriented, self-starter capable of multi-tasking and handling complex tasks and showing a keen interest in helping grow our firm. Responsibilities:
- Draft, review, negotiate, and interpret a wide variety of commercial contracts including but not limited to service agreements, licensing deals, partnership agreements, and nondisclosure agreements.
- Provide ongoing legal counsel to a variety of clients, offering timely and business-focused legal advice.
- Manage relationships with clients on a daily basis, understanding their needs and ensuring high levels of client satisfaction.
- Supervise and mentor junior associates, fostering their growth and development.
- Proactively identify legal risks and devise creative and effective solutions.
- Support the continuous improvement of standard form agreements and legal processes.
- Contribute to the growth and strategic direction of the firm.
Requirements:
- JD from an accredited law school and admission to a U.S. State Bar.
- Minimum of 6 years of legal experience, with a focus on drafting, negotiating, and advising on commercial contracts.
- Prior experience in a law firm or in-house legal team.
- Demonstrated ability to handle complex legal matters and run deals independently.
- Exceptional organizational skills and ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously.
- Excellent interpersonal skills to effectively communicate and work with a diverse range of clients and team members.
- Proficiency in areas such as cryptocurrency, social media, SaaS, ad tech, fast fashion, and sports media is a plus.
- Demonstrated commitment to ongoing professional development and learning.
