For more than 40 years, Carrier Transicold has been an industry leader, providing customers around the world with the most advanced, energy efficient and environmentally sustainable container refrigeration systems and generator sets, direct-drive and diesel truck units and trailer refrigeration systems. About This Role We are currently looking for an Executive Account Manager (EAM). This role will report to the Regional Sales Director and will assist in the Company’s efforts to maintain and expand relationships with customers accounts. We are looking for a strong team member who will be responsible for achieving sales goals, obtaining new accounts, leading/supporting sales blitzes, and performing “train the trainer” events for the Carrier sales force. You will own the customer account planning cycle and ensure assigned customers’ needs and expectations are met by the Company. You will focus on the key buying locations of assigned accounts while coordinating closely with field associates and Dealers assigned to these customers’ other locations. Your role will be a strategic position that requires excellent sales and product skills. Additionally, exemplary project management and social skills are required to lead teams in accomplishing these objectives.

Key Responsibilities

  • Establishes productive, professional relationships with key personnel in customer accounts.
  • Work closely with assigned Regional personnel assisting with sales blitzes, sales calls and all related sales activity.
  • Coordinate company personnel, including support, service, and management resources, in order to meet account performance objectives and customers’ expectations.
  • Meet assigned targets for profitable sales volume and strategic objectives in assigned accounts.
  • Actively lead a joint company-strategic account planning process to develop mutual performance objectives, financial targets, and critical achievements for a one and three-year period.
  • Actively assess, clarify, and validate customer needs.
  • Lead solution development efforts that address customer needs, while coordinating involvement of all necessary company personnel.
  • Achieve assigned sales quota in designated accounts and assigned territories.
  • Meet assigned expectations for profitability.
  • Achieve strategic customer objectives defined by company management.
  • Complete strategic customer account plans
  • Maintain high customer satisfaction ratings
  • Complete required training and development objectives within the assigned time frame.
  • Work multiple projects at a time while paying strict attention to detail.

Required Qualifications

  • High School Diploma or GED
  • 4+ Years of Account Management or Transportation Industry Experience

Preferred Qualifications

  • Bachelor’s or Master’s Degree
  • Transportation Experience
  • Account sales experience in a business-to-business sales environment.
  • Strong listening skills, strategic leadership, partnership and ability to indirectly lead teams.
  • Market knowledge, financial skills, analytical skills and the ability to develop and execute complex sales and marketing strategies.
  • Good negotiation skills and a keen ability to close contracts with targeted accounts.
  • Self -motivated and able to thrive in a dynamic environment
  • Excellent verbal and written communication
  • Diverse computer skills.
