Level 3 IT Technician (MSP | Kaseya Stack | Meraki Networking) – Part-Time (2 hrs/day)

We are a growing Managed Service Provider (MSP) seeking a highly skilled Level 3 IT Technician to assist with advanced technical escalations, networking, and security. This is a part-time role (approx. 2 hours per day) with the potential for long-term collaboration. You’ll act as a senior escalation point, helping resolve complex issues across client environments, with a strong focus on Kaseya tools and Meraki networking infrastructure. Responsibilities: Handle Tier 3 escalations involving complex systems and network issues Troubleshoot and manage Meraki firewalls, switches, and VPN configurations Support and optimize environments using the Kaseya stack (VSA, BMS, IT Glue, Datto/EDR, etc.) Investigate security alerts and assist with remediation using Kaseya security tools Perform root cause analysis and implement long-term fixes Assist with system design improvements and best practices across client environments Document solutions and contribute to internal knowledge base Requirements: Proven experience working in an MSP environment at a Level 3 / Senior level Strong hands-on experience with Meraki (MX, MS, MR) including firewall rules, site-to-site VPNs, and troubleshooting Experience with the Kaseya stack (VSA, IT Glue, Datto EDR/AV, etc.) Deep understanding of networking (TCP/IP, VLANs, DNS, DHCP, routing, firewall policies) Experience with Windows Server, Active Directory, Microsoft 365 Ability to independently diagnose and resolve complex, multi-layered issues Strong documentation and communication skills Nice to Have: Experience with Azure / AWS environments Certifications (CCNA/CCNP, Security+, Microsoft, etc.) Scripting/automation (PowerShell preferred) Experience with compliance/security frameworks (CIS, NIST, etc.) Engagement Details: ~2 hours per day (flexible, but responsiveness is important) Long-term opportunity for the right candidate Fully remote To Apply: Please include: Your experience working in an MSP and with the Kaseya stack Specific examples of Meraki/networking issues you’ve resolved Your availability (including timezone) Any relevant certifications Apply tot his job Apply To this Job
