Job Summary

We're seeking an experienced Manager State & Higher Education to join our Southwest Business Department, where you'll coach and professionally develop Field Government Account Managers and designated portfolio management. As a key member of our team, you'll be responsible for increasing sales, establishing formal partnerships, and broadening awareness of arenaflex corporate travel programs and services to State, Local, and Higher Education managed travel accounts. Key Responsibilities

* Coach and professionally develop Field Government Account Managers and designated portfolio management to achieve sales growth and expand arenaflex's presence in the managed travel industry

  • Develop and execute strategic plans to increase sales, establish formal partnerships, and broaden awareness of arenaflex corporate travel programs and services to State, Local, and Higher Education managed travel accounts
  • Identify, hire, onboard, and train a sales organization of trusted Advisors in the managed travel industry
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to drive business growth and improve customer satisfaction
  • Analyze market trends, competitor activity, and customer needs to inform business decisions and drive innovation
  • Develop and maintain relationships with key stakeholders, including State, Local, and Higher Education officials, to promote arenaflex's corporate travel programs and services
  • Stay up-to-date with industry developments, best practices, and regulatory requirements to ensure arenaflex remains a leader in the managed travel industry

Essential Qualifications

* 5+ years of experience in sales, account management, or a related field, with a proven track record of success in the managed travel industry

  • Bachelor's degree in Business Administration, Marketing, or a related field
  • Strong understanding of the managed travel industry, including market trends, competitor activity, and customer needs
  • Excellent communication, interpersonal, and leadership skills, with the ability to build strong relationships with stakeholders
  • Proven ability to analyze complex data, identify opportunities, and develop strategic plans to drive business growth
  • Experience with sales force automation tools, CRM systems, and data analytics platforms
  • Strong problem-solving skills, with the ability to think critically and creatively in fast-paced environments

Preferred Qualifications

* Master's degree in Business Administration, Marketing, or a related field

  • Experience working in a remote or virtual environment, with a strong understanding of remote work best practices
  • Certification in sales, account management, or a related field (e.g., Certified Sales Professional, Certified Account Manager)
  • Experience working with State, Local, and Higher Education officials, or a strong understanding of the SLED market
  • Familiarity with arenaflex's products and services, or a strong desire to learn and grow with the company

* Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to think critically and creatively

  • Excellent communication, interpersonal, and leadership skills, with the ability to build strong relationships with stakeholders
  • Proven ability to work in a fast-paced environment, with multiple priorities and deadlines
  • Strong understanding of sales force automation tools, CRM systems, and data analytics platforms
  • Experience with project management tools, such as Asana, Trello, or Basecamp
  • Strong attention to detail, with the ability to maintain accurate records and reports
  • Ability to work independently, with minimal supervision, and as part of a remote team

Compensation, Perks, and Benefits

arenaflex offers a competitive compensation package, including:

  • Salary: $80,000 - $110,000 per year, depending on experience and qualifications
