Hi! We are seeking a highly skilled Tax Accountant, a Certified Public Accountant (CPA) or Enrolled Agent (EA), to join our dynamic firm. This unique, permanent, full-time role combines high-level tax preparation and advisory with essential administrative management. The ideal candidate is a professional self-starter who can efficiently prioritize technical tax work alongside critical office support duties. Core Responsibilities

  • Tax Preparation & Compliance: Prepare and review complex Individual and Business Tax Returns (1040, 1120, 1120S, 1065). Handle specialized reporting including equity compensation (RSUs/ESPP), Cryptocurrency, and complex international forms (e.g., FBAR 114, 8938, 2555, 1116, 3520).
  • Advisory Support: Research tax law, assist with client tax planning, and support senior staff in resolving IRS and State tax notices.
  • Client Interaction: Communicate directly and professionally with clients to gather necessary information and provide updates.

Required Qualifications

  • Active CPA license or Enrolled Agent (EA) designation.
  • At least 2 years of proven experience.
  • Proven expertise in complex tax preparation across various entity types.
  • Exceptional organizational skills, attention to detail, and a high level of professionalism.
  • Proficiency in MS Excel, Word, Outlook, Google platforms, and rapid adaptability to specialized tax software.
  • Excellent professional English speaking and writing skills for frequent client and team communication.

Work Environment

  • Busy Season: Extended hours and mandatory overtime are required during our busy season (typically February through April). Paid overtime is provided.
