The arenaflex Services team is a critical component of our organization, providing comprehensive services to our customers and partners. Our services include proactive management of tools, expertise in optics, image processing, and motion control, 24/7 technical support, and an extensive parts network. Our team partners with field teams and customers to maintain high-performance and productivity of our products, ensuring that our customers stay ahead of the competition.

Job Description

As a Customer Support Engineer at arenaflex, you will play a critical role in ensuring the success of our customers. Your primary responsibilities will include:

  • Evaluating, analyzing, diagnosing, and troubleshooting technical equipment problems via telephone or at customer site
  • Ensuring equipment enhances customer production and repairing and updating equipment at customer facility
  • Repairing system-level problems that have multiple causes and for which no standard procedures exist, based on your technical knowledge, education, training, and certification
  • Accessing and determining problems existing in customers' processes, such as chemical leaks or contamination, and recommending shutdown of customer fab due to unsafe conditions
  • Preparing field service reports on customer support activity and providing documentation to other supporting functions on re-occurring problems
  • Preparing quotes for customers based on labor, travel expenses incurred, and parts needed
  • Assisting other field service engineers as appropriate and providing guidance and technical assistance to Installation Engineer on installations at customer sites or on installing/dismantling demonstration machines
  • Conducting customer orientation and technical training on all aspects of equipment maintenance support for user applications
  • Traveling by car or commercial transportation to customer facility
  • Contributing to the Capturing, Re-use, Collaboration, and Improvement of knowledge using available systems

Minimum Qualifications

* Master's Level Degree and 0 years related work experience

  • Bachelor's Level Degree and related work experience of 2 years
