What You'll Do
As a Data Entry Specialist, you'll be responsible for:
- Connecting with veterinary facilities to arrange prescription approvals, resolve client issues, and explain order requests
- Examining and resolving issues to determine proper solutions for clients and center partners, and following up on a case-by-case basis to resolve issues
- Completing accurate and efficient data entry of prescriptions into our healthcare software
- Maintaining a high level of quality through data entry and order handling of veterinary pharmacy orders
- Working with empathy, attention to detail, patience, compassion, and kindness to clients and partners alike
- Demonstrating a willingness to learn and grow with our company
- Communicating with veterinary facilities via telephone (and occasionally other stations on a case-by-case basis) with various topics, primarily using our internal software and systems to explore solutions and record center note accounts
- Expecting a significant portion of the typical business day to be spent on outbound veterinary center/client telephone contacts
What You'll Need
To be successful in this role, you'll need:
- 2 years of experience working in a client or healthcare-focused environment
- Excellent communication skills (written, verbal, and listening)
- Ability to multitask (e.g., talking on the phone while exploring on the computer and taking notes)
- A strong sense of ownership, self-motivation, and attention to detail
- Proficiency with Microsoft Office
- High school diploma or equivalent
- Ability to obtain a Pharmacy Technician License from the Kentucky Board of Pharmacy (if required)
- Strong decision-making skills
- Ability to perform multiple tasks and thrive in a fast-paced environment
- Flexibility to adjust to changing business needs and adapt to new situations
- Ability to maintain confidentiality and secure sensitive information
- Ability to pass a background check
