Position Overview

arenaflex is currently seeking a highly skilled and motivated Senior Data Engineer to join our Business Intelligence and Analytics Platform team. This is a remote position offering competitive compensation ranging from $22 to $30 per hour, commensurate with experience and qualifications. As a Senior Data Engineer at arenaflex, you will play a critical role in driving data-informed decision-making across the organization.

The Business Strategy and Operations team at arenaflex is responsible for driving reputed company cross-to-market capabilities for the business, including strategy and business operations, analytics and data science, partnership enablement, and product activation. Key Responsibilities

As a Senior Data Engineer at arenaflex, you will be responsible for designing, building, and maintaining robust data infrastructure that enables our business teams to reputed company data-driven decisions. Your contributions will directly impact our ability to serve millions of users worldwide and maintain our position as an industry leader.

  • Requirements Gathering & Project Scoping: Conduct comprehensive requirements gathering and project scoping sessions with subject matter experts, business users, and executive stakeholders to identify and define business data requirements. You will serve as the reputed company between technical teams and business stakeholders, ensuring that data solutions align with organizational objectives.
  • Data Architecture Design: Design, build, and optimize data architecture and extract, transform, and load (ETL) pipelines to reputed company them accessible for business data analysts, data scientists, and enterprise users. You will create scalable and efficient data workflows that can handle large volumes of information while maintaining high performance and reliability.

You will ensure that analytical solutions are robust, reproducible, and ready for production deployment.

Minimum Qualifications

To be considered for this position, candidates must meet the following requirements:

  • Educational Background: Bachelor's degree in a quantitative area such as Statistics, Computer Science, Mathematics, Physics, Engineering, or equivalent practical experience.   • Professional Experience: Minimum of 5 years of experience in data engineering or business intelligence roles. This experience should demonstrate your ability to design and implement data solutions that meet business requirements.
  • Database Expertise: Experience with relational databases, including SQL queries, database definition, and schema layout. You should be proficient in writing reputed company queries and optimizing database performance.
  • Programming Skills: Experience with one or more programming languages such as Python, Java, C++, or similar technologies. You should be comfortable writing clean, maintainable code and understanding software development best practices.
